Work permit query

Hey guys,

Had a quick question my work permit expired last month. I got another one in the mail this month. I am a Jan 2016 applicant PR applicant with the file still being processed do i need to update through case specific enquiry about the new updated work permot?

In my opinion, you better update your work permit. Otherwise they'd take you as illegal case since your work permit indicated it's expired.

In my opinion, you don't have to because CIC can access everything on their system when going through background checks so they know if you have status or not.

I don't think its necessary to give them anything unless they request for it.

Bingo i did ask the IRCC about it the agent told me if they don't ask for it then don't send it.
