Hi Guys,
I m an Indian Citizen. I am getting a work permit of 2 years for the employer in Canada. I was informed by my consultant that I can apply for spouse visa after I reach Canada. Also, about Medical, she told me that medical test will happen twice. Once in India and 2nd time in Canada (by the employer), post which I will get my insurance from the employer.
My queries:
1) If I am on a work permit of 2 years, How can I apply visa for my Spouse and 4 month old kid. Which visa type, it will fall in? what is the processing time and fee as an when applicable? Also, will she be able to work there on that visa?
2) About medical, Suppose my medical test found as pre-existing illness then my employer will not give me insurance, would I have to buy insurance for medical expenses or what is the process in canada for getting medical benefits on work permit if employer does not cover my insurance?
3)Can I apply for PR while on my work permit.
Note: I m Hiv Positive and my Viral load is 0. My CD4 count is 960. I am taking ART medicines but completely fit and fine to work and live in any situation.
Please suggest me the best you can. Appreciate your advice.
Regards,
