I have got a Post Graduate Work Permit since the college graduation July 2014.
My wife didn't apply for the extension of her work permit at that time because I planned to start the PR for me and my wife in Aug 2014, and her work permit expires on Mar 30 2015.
Now, our PRs are still under process- I received the application number for the file -, but they don't seem to be issued before the expiry of my wife's work permit.
So, here's my question.
1. Does my wife have to apply either for the extension of work permit or temporary residence visa(TRV) when our PR is under process?
2. My wife hasn't had any work in Canada and does not plan to work before PR. In this case, isn't TRV a better option for her as there have been cases that some applicants w/o work history during their work visa period are rejected for the re-issuing work permit?
