I have applied for a permanent resident status in the province of Quebec which is in the final stages of approval (I received my certificate de selection du Quebec and sent my federal dossier to Sydney, next step should be the medical test).
I work now in Dubai for a pharmaceutical multinational company and I received a job offer as a director within the same company in the Canadian affiliate to be based in Toronto
I want to know if I take up employment outside of the province of Quebec pursuant to a temporary work permit in Toronto (Intracompany transfer), will my application for permanent resident status will be in jeopardy?
the lawyers of my company think so but I'm not sure about it
