Hello

My wife landed in Canada on Visitor's visa this month. The visitor visa stay is for 6 months. The immigration document says, Case Type = 10, and 3 conditions (1) Unless authorized cannot work (2) unless authorized cannot enroll in educational institution (3) must leave Canada in 6 months.

My question is
(1) I am a permanent resident and hold employment in Canada. Can I apply for work permit for my wife as the document says "Unless Authorized" ?
(2) If yes, then after work permit, should I apply for work visa ?(may be the work visa will be valid for longer than 6 months)

Please Advice

Scylla is right. No way that they will give her a work permit. You should've applied for PR for her
