Hi guys,

My daughter is on study permit and I am on visitor visa. Can I take work permit on dependent of my daughter?
Please confirm

No. You are not dependant on her. You need a job with an approved LMIA and then apply for a closed work permit.

No. You are not a dependent of your daughter. A mother is never a dependent of a daughter in the eye of IRCC.

You can get a work permit independently if you qualify and can find a job and the employer is willing to apply for LMIA and a closed work permit for you.
(which means that you have special qualification and skill that no one else in Canada can do)
