Work Permit LMIA

So I've been doing a fair bit of reading on this site and on the official Canadian visa site.
Like every other Australian I want to head over and work in the snow. Is it still possible to do this with the LMIA in place? Seeing as the requirements of lets say working in hospitality or lifts are pretty basic, theres no real need to hire a foreign worker. I've pretty much answered my own question. But if somebody could clarify or enlighten me with some sort of loop hole or other options I've missed that would be great. Cheers.

You should research the Working Holiday Visa program. If you are the right age, you may qualify for a visa that gives you a work permit without an LMIA and job offer for a year. Otherwise, yes, you need an LMIA which costs your employer $1K and takes several month to obtain (including at least one month of advertising the role to prove no Canadian could be hired).
