hi every one who applied work permit along there dependent {sowp}
plz share ur time line in this forum
my time line is down there


i have applied along with my wife she was the main applicant in 24 jan 2014
it was paper based application and we sent all documents,passport and medical upfront as per company said.
we get email replied yesterday after long wait of 6 months
just stated in 2 line

ur application is still in process and under review
and thanks for the patience

and now we have to wait again any one have the same situation plz share ur time line thanks

KRMALIK have you or your spouse travel a lot ?

one of the most common reason of delay due to travel history.

I would strongly recommend you to apply for GCMS notes. May you get your necessary visa real soon.

i was a student in uk from last 5 yea i just came back from uk 8 months before in the meanwhile i came back on holidays 2 times and my wife she is IT professional she went to malaysia on official tour for 2 months and came back.

plz can u tell me what is gcms and what for?

Stuck in the same boat. We sponsored our nanny as a live in care giver and she applied for the work permit on Feb 18 2014 paper based and without up front medicals. She is yet to recieve any reponse from CHC islamabad. Bechause of this delay we are stuck in a situation as my wife cannot go to work because there is no one to take care of our toddler.

She sent a couple of email enquiries to CHC and all the told that the application is in process and under review.

I dont know what CHC is doing for six months and sitting on the application.

She first submiited her work permit on Jan 28 2014 and got her application back in 10 days with a refusal..... She then re applied on Feb 18 2014 and the long waiting saga is not getting over.

Any suggestion as to what can be done here ?

alhamdulilah
we have received email yesterday from embassy that application of work permit have been approved
it was really n truly long wait of more than 6 months

my wife was the main applicant and we applied together on 24th of jan 2014
yesterday they sent email that application has been approved and now we waiting for the VAC Islamabad for to call us to pickup passport and remaining documents
may be it will get we bcz of the political situation in Islamabad
hope for the best to settle down the situation in Islamabad
at last the wait is over
