Work permit got refuse from the CSBA officer. ( Flag pole cross border)

Dear friends,

My worker got refuse for his work permit because he can't speak english well, We applied the LMIA and got the job offer from us so he can provided the proofs. Consequently the officer gave him 10 days to leave the country. Just wondering if there anything I could do for him, I really need him for our business. Thank you

He has a departure order so bigger issues than getting a work permit. If he doesn’t leave, this turns into a deportation order.He needs to leave ASAP before deportation order is in effect. Forget about a work permit

Why did he flagpole and for what NOC? What was his status in Canada? Reasons for refusal are not because he couldn’t speak English.

He decided to flagpole because his wife need the open work permit, he is Cook and I’m not sure what NOC.The officer interviewed him for 2 hours and mentioned that he need at least ielts level 3 . Not sure what to do next

So he would have showed ECA, Red Seal, work experience and IELTS. He has an order to leave Canada in 10 days. If he doesn’t then he receives a deportation order. His worry has nothing to do with a work permit that is not an option but he has order to leave Canada. He will need an ARC to return to, I believe. Talk to a lawyer for advice but he needs to get his bags packed. How long has he been in Canada and what is his status? If over 6 months then he has no status either.

It was a bad idea to flagpole without correct documentation. And now he is paying the price. He could have applied online along with spouse’s application.

Try hiring a Canadian citizen, there are plenty looking for work.
