Work Permit from India approved, but kids visa pending

Hi All,

I got an offer in Canada as part of intra company transfer. I have applied for work permit for myself, spouse and visiting visa for my 6 month old kid on Oct 16, 2023.
Mine and husbands work permit got approved in a month, but kids visa is still pending after 170 days.

Is anyone else facing this issue, any help !!

Is there any way to get kids visa application prioritized, and i already tried raising webforms but was getting only generic responses.

Where did you apply from? No way to prioritize as TRV is processed with different timelines.

ohh.. have been waiting for 170+ days now. The waiting period is said to be 23 days

Oh, that's a stretch. never heard this delay for TRVs. a call to IRCC may help?

Work Permit application (LMIA Exempt - ICT): Applied on 14 March 2024
Biometrics: 21 March 2024
Country of application: India

Hi.. as per my experience you would get your stamping done by April itself.
