Work Permit for Software Engineer

I am a software engineer from India, I develop software applications.
I am looking for a job in Canada. My sister lives there and I too want to move there now. I have searched for jobs there but they all need a work permit.
How can I get a work visa that allows me live and work in Canada? What are my chances of having one? Please help me out with this.

To qualify to apply for a work permit, you first have to find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer you a job and is willing to complete all of the necessary paperwork to hire a foreign worker. As you've discovered, most employers are not willing to go through this process. All you can to is keep trying and hopefully you will find an employer who is willing to hire you. Once you do, that employer will have to obtain an approved labour market opinion. Only then will you be able to apply for a work permit.
