Work permit for common law partner

Have you guys applied for a work permit for your common law partner at the same time that you applied for your study permit in Canada ??? I need some suggestions. because I am applying online together and I do not exactly what to attach in the Common law partnet proof. Thanks.

Would suggest applying for your study permit first. Including the SOWP tends to slow down the process. All depends on whether you absolutely need to move together at the same time. If so, you can apply together. Would also point out the permits/visas are not guaranteed for spouses/common law partners of international students.
