Work Permit Extension

My work permit expired on 3rd May 2019. I applied for extension of my work permit on 27th Apr 2019.

Also, I got my PR invite on June 12th 2019 and on july 10th I got my AOR.

My question is if in case my extension application is rejected, can I apply again for extension of work permit and bridging my application as I already got my PR invite and my pr application is in process?

1. No, to be eligible for BOWP your work permit has to be valid.

Okay I can reapply for work permit but won't be able to get the bridge open work permit?

You need a job offer and an approved LMIA - and then you can apply for a work permit.

You cannot reapply for the bridging open work permit until you have a valid work permit again.
