work permit extension

hey guys,

have a question
my timeline
july 9th : paper application sent for work permit extension as my PGWP was expiring on july 12th
july 29th : application submitted for EE under FSW after an invite was issued
aug 6th: BCPNP nomination received under regular stream

now according to the processing times for work permit applications mine would probably be
looked into by the end of october (as they are now processing may applications).
this would be rejected as it is a PGWP and it wont be extended. so my question is
can i apply on the very same day i receive a rejection with valid documents and still continue working?

PS: vegreville cant connect my BCPNP nomination to the application sent and so my struggle
