Hi All,
Here are some details:
My Status: PGWP expiring in August 2014
Job: NOC 'O'
Spouse Status: PGWP expiring in October 2015
Job: Unemployed
As per this link on CIC, (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who.asp) I can apply for work permit only if my spouse has a job in skilled class. NOC 'O, A or B'.
But when I go through the whole questionnaire, CIC evaluates that I'm eligible to apply for work permit and prompts me to submit these:
Form: IMM5710 (Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker)
Documents:
1. Family Member Proof of Status (Work Permit)
2. Marriage Certificate
3. My Passport & Travel Documents
4. Digital Photos
Nowhere, it asks me to submit the employer letter of my spouse. Does it mean I can apply for work permit even if my spouse doesn't have a job??
Thanks!
