A bit of a unique situation. Sorry if it has been covered before but I was having no luck with the search.
My Post Graduate Work Permit ends this March 18, 2017. That gives me less than 2 months. I've been working for a financial company for the past 2.5 years as an analyst.
I've applied last week for permanent residency through the spousal sponsorship as my spouse is Canadian.
Now I know that I need to extend my current work permit (bridge extension?) but I'm really having trouble finding out the steps. I'm on the CIC account.
Could anyone direct me towards what my next steps are to get an extension as I wait for the results of my permanent residency?
