Hello, I am Temporary Foreign Worker on Post Graduate Work Permit set to expire on January 4, 2016.
I've been trying to find work in the film industry but have only been employed once for three months.
Any job interviews I had after this did not call me back afterwards.
During my last interview, the hiring manager informed me that most studios would not consider hiring me because they required the worker to at least have 6 months left on their work visa.
I realized that this was the reason I did not get many call backs for the last few months that I've been going to interviews.
Is there anything I can do to extend my stay here in Canada? I would like to work for at least a year in the film industry that I trained her for but it is difficult to do in my current circumstance.
Any advice or information is welcome!
