Work Permit Extension and Spouse Open work permit

Hi,

I am on a work permit and I brought my wife with me on visitor visa to Canada.

I want to apply for work permit extension but I don't know if I can apply my wife's open work permit at
the same time with my work permit extension application? (as for the fact that her open work permit will be based on my extension)

And If I can, is there any way I can apply both applications online or both needs to be packaged and sent together offline to immigration office?

If I apply online , can they accept multiple application as one or do I need to apply separately since my wife's work permit will be based on my work permit extension ?
I tried searching online on how but didn't find any forms that I need to fill online for both as One Application. Do you know how can I do that?

It is all submitted together. You need to go through the online questionnaire: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp.

When you are going through the questions for your application, it will ask if you want to submit an application for a family member. Select "Yes" and it will include her in your application and tell you what is required for both of you.

Thanks a lot for your reply, will try that and do I need to have medicals done before or they will ask that for it later on for extension. Her visitor visa will expire in 2 months, if this process takes longer than her visitor visa expiry and if gets rejected , can I apply for VISITOR visa extension or do I need to send her back then?

The questionnaire will tell you whether you need a medical.

As long as you meet all the requirements, there isn't much chance of the app being refused. If her OWP is refused, there isn't much chance of a visitor restoration/extension being approved either.

Hi friends,

My wife landed in Toronto on June 22, 2014 by Intra Company Transfer(ICT). She went on worker visa. And I have Open Spousal Work Permit. Both of our visa is getting expired on Aug 25, 2014 hardly 2 more months.

For some reason, I'm unable to travel with existing OSWP.

I'm planning to apply for FSWP 2014 noc 2173 and has collected all document expect for IETLS score card, which i will get in July 7.

Please suggest me whether should i go ahead with apply FSW14 or is there any visa/program under which i can apply.
