Hello everyone. My first thread here. I submitted my PNP PR application this month and my open work permit is set to expire in August this year, which is after 4months. So I am looking to apply for bridging open work permit and AOR is one of the required documents for applying BOWP. However, it seems like it averagely takes 6 months to receive the AOR since PR application submission according to the recent timelines that other people shared. The date my work permit expires should probably be sooner than the time I receive AOR. Does anyone have suggestion what I should do? Any help is much appreciated.

You can apply to extend your WP knowing it will be denied and hope you get AOR before the refusal so you can apply for BOWP.

Thanks for the reply! Do you mean I can still apply for BOWP even though I don't have AOR yet? If so, once I get the AOR, should I submit it in the same BOWP application or I should create a new BOWP application with the AOR attached?
