Dear Seniors, my work permit HAS expired 2 weeks ago. Can I now apply for a visitor record to allow me stay in Canada for about another 3 months to finish some family issue and then leave? thank you so much.
You need to apply to restore your status and also change your status to visitor. You can't simply apply to change your status to visitor since your work permit has expired and you're currently in Canada without status / illegally.
