My family and I are holding work permit (my husband is holding a closed work permit while I'm holding an open permit) and the permit will be expired in 2 month.
We have no employer right now, my husband was currently unemployed and I quit my job to give birth to baby 4 months ago.
We have applied for Permanent Residents in Quebec (QSW), have received the CSQ and are waiting for the final decision from CIC. (Have finished the medical examination and paid the landing fee.)
Is it possible to stay in Canada after the work permit is expired so as to wait for the PR? We have two kids (one 3.5-month old and one 2.5-year old), it's will be too trouble to travel outside Canada and come back later.
Can someone tell me how to apply and which category I can apply for?
