Work permit expired while I am waiting COPR

Hi guys,

Last week I received my passport request, I already send it so I am waiting for COPR. My work permit will be expired this next Thursday so when I get the COPR my work permit will be expired.

I want to travel outside Canada as soon I will get the COPR, probably in 3 weeks. Should I applied for a visitor visa just for these 3 weeks? Will be any problem in the landing if a remain in Canada this 3 weeks with my work permit expired? (I already stopped to work)

Due may work permit will be expired, what I need for landing by plane, ETA and COPR?

Yes you need to apply to change your status from worker to visitor, or apply for a bridge work permit before you permit expires. Otherwise you would be out of status next Wednesday and it's going to be a problem.

I see you posted same question three weeks ago and someone already gave you this advise. Why didn't you listen is beyond my comprehension.

You need to apply for a new permit or change your status to visitor NOW.
