work permit expired next month and still haven't heard from Gov for my PNP case!

I have my work permit done with my immigration consultant. They said I can not renew until I get the nomination paper from GOV then I can have that paper to renew my work permit. If I send out now with PNP application I might get rejected. Is this information true and reliable? I have to admit I do not trust my immigration consultant. All they do just take my money. I have to do with them because my big boss doesn't want to do these documents with me directly. SO, I have no choice. It's anybody could help me with an answer?? I'm applying BC PNP though!! My work permit expired on dec15th and my they haven't sent out my Application out yet. I'm so worry of my status though.

Usually when work permit is about to expire, some provinces nominate you earlier than usual, I know this because some of my friends are waiting for nomination for 7 months because they have long work permit left, where as one person got it in 10 days because his work permit was about to expire so do not worry and apply for PNP

Hi!I renewed it online.You can do it by yourself just one week or less before the expiring date(I would suggest to try it right now,just in case,yours can not be done online)You have to answer lot of questions and at the end you need to attach the job offer and the certificate. Cause you don't have it yet,you can send them the confirmation mail with the number of your file...and in one of the question you have to put that you 'll be sending the certificate as soon as you have it.
To renew the work permit online,inside canada,it takes about 2 months...meanwhile you have implied status(the same status that you have now)and when they have to print it they'll request the certificate(at that moment you should have it)...

I hope u can suggest me on something in my case..Please..!
I applied BC PNP in Aug, still didn't get any respond, I have work permit till Nov 2013, As u mentioned, is having long work permit the reason for delay? If i was nominated, will they send me support letter for work permit extension? coz however my work permit is not long enough to maintain legal status until i get PR card. If so, do i need to apply for extension right after i got the support letter or just before 90 days (i mean in sep 2013) as u mentioned?
Could u please through some light on this from ur experience? Thanks lot in advance!

Yes 90 days before expiry will be the right time for applying extension as you might have open work permit before that, the extended work permit would be a closed one and you should not apply prior to the sep 2013. And the reason for delay mentioned may not be applicable to all provinces, BC PNP office may have different strategy for the delayed cases

When did you pass your application for the PNP? Because there's a timeline for the processing of your application if you exceed to that time you can call them or fax a letter thats what i think. Once you receive your nomination letter them you can apply for work permit extension but you need this nomination letter and new employment contract so you can apply for a new one.
