work permit expire soon

hi.
I applied CEC mid of september. I am in Canada with my work permit now. But my permit expire end of January 2011 so I only have 3 more months. I don't think I get PR before that, and my company doesnt offer me a LMO. In this case, do I need to apply Visitor visa? or Can I just stay in Canada until I get my PR?

I am serious. please give me your advise

If your work permit will expire end of January 2011 (mine too), you will have to either -

Apply to extend/change conditions of your stay for a temporary resident visa (then you cannot work), or
Go back home and wait for a response to your CEC application.

Of course, you could try to find another job, but you know that positlve LMO is difficult to get.

you CANNOT remain in Canada illegally, so either you get a visitor, student or work visa,or you go back home, if not you would be rejected from the CEC program.
