can i get work offer and work permit on my visitor visa.
or

can i get job offer letter to get work permission ?

As a visitor you may look for a job but you can only apply for a work permit at an office outside Canada. If you have the job offer letter, LMO and a valid visa to enter Canada you may even flagpole and get a work permit on the spot at a port of entry.

visa there? I am currently working here in Alberta and my employer is willing to hire my husband but according to him, my
husband might be refused if he will be applying in philippines since I'm already here (my status is not yet skilled). So our plan is.. his sister will get a visit visa for him and from there, he will apply for a work permit under the job offer of my boss. Thank you!GOD BLESS!

it is not necessarily at p.i. but when filing the work permit with valid LMO and its corresponding requirements must be done outside canada maybe at u.s. or any country the applicant has a legal status to stay (not overstay). if somene is in canada already as a visitor and an employer wishes to sponsor a work through LMO be careful of not filling it inside canada; it will be automatically be denied for the reason a visitor cannot file work permit especially online while staying in canada.

if your husband only come to dubai as a visitors visa he is not consider resident. they will find him no strong ties to the country where he is applying. so its the same thing they will find proof of strong ties that he will come back after the employment contract.

to start he could go to dubai as visitors and come back to show travel history. prepare more proof of ties to the philippines like property, work family, etc.

Do you actually have to be psychically outside of Canada in order to get your work permit? I mean do you have to cross the US -Canadian border in order to get your work permit for example?
