After a painful 10 months waiting for LMIA, can you believe that my Work Permit application was processed by CIC London in under 24 Hrs - astonishing, given the LMIA saga.
Can anybody help with duration. The work permit authorisation letter states I must "activate" by entering Canada before Feb 2016 and then states the standard 4 year cumulative rule.
However, my LMIA states "employment duration" 6 months. Does this mean that Canada Border guards will only grant me work permit for 6 months or can I proceed with entry up to the 4 year rule.
I cannot give up my job in the UK for a 6 month posting.
