Work Permit confusion

Hi I'm Australian who currently holds an open work permit, on a working holiday visa that I obtained through IEC (International Experience Canada) in 2014. This visa will expire in May of this year and with my wanting to come back to Canada, I applied for a new work permit through IEC.

But to my confusion, when my application was approved, I have been given a Work Permit, even though I had applied for a working holiday visa, there was no indication this is apart of IEC ( I don't know if I'm just reading this all wrong or what)
I am hoping this doesn't mean I need a temporary resident visa (TRV) when I arrive at the airport to go through immigration. Because as of the last few times I've just gone through on a working holiday Visa issued through IEC. And I have no Idea if I require an LMIA. Since I have no offer of employment. and I stated that when applying.

Any answers that could clear up my confusion would be greatly appriciated, And I hope that I have been clear enough on what I am trying to say here.
Thank you for you time.

IEC is a work permit, not a visa. You have been issued the right thing.

As an Aussie, you don't need a visa. Depending on when your new permit was approved, you might need an eta.
