Hello,
my plan is to work in Canada with a 2 year temporary work permit. I have a signed job contract for 2 years. We are planning to submit a "Request for an opinion on Work Permit or LMIA Exemption" and hope it comes back positive with an exemption for an international non-trade agreement.
If I do get a positive answer, can I just show up at an airport with the Opinion, my work contract and all documents required for a temporary work permit (I am from a visa-exempt country) and assume with reasonable certainty that I get a work permit right away?
Cheers,
Jay
