We have just received word that tthe LMIA is approved and that letter will follow shortly (anyone an idea about how long this might take by the way? Lmia took 5 months when 2 weeks were expected....), so hurray!
We are planning to fly to ottawa in april and apply for work permit for my partner at port of entry, also an open work permit for me.
but we will be travelling with our son, who is three years old... Does anyone here have experience with this process - how long does it take generally?
We'll be flying in from the Netherlands.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!
