Work permit approved but sent to my address in Canada but I am in India.

I have applied for work permit extension it was approved and the document is send to my previous address in Canada.
But presently I am in India with an expired visa. I have applied for temporary working visa. But will I be allowed to enter Canada with out proper work permit ?

What should I do ?

please help.
