Hi Y'all!

My wife is the principal applicant for the Canadian work visa (WP). Last Wednesday (December 7th), our visa was approved (WP + OWP + 2 Visitor).

Therefore, we received the documents in our email to apply for a passport. However, only my wife did not receive the passport application letter.

She received two documents by email: a) the work permit letter to pick up the permit at the border and b) the biometrics validation document (correspondance letter). However, she did not receive the Passport Request (PPR) letter, possibly due to a system error.

All visas were approved 5 days ago. The secondary applicants received the “Passport Request” document, only the main applicant did not receive this letter.

I would like to know, given the context explained above, if we can send the passports to the VFS for stamping?

Is that possible?

Hi Godoy,

Sorry, it is not the answer to your question, but because my case is very similar to yours (WP + OWP + 2 Visitor). and it has been more than5 months that I am waiting and no update yet, so I wondered if you could share your processing timeline,

Thank you!

Hi Benjamin,

Do you have a valid ETA or a Canadian Visitor Visa?

Hi Godboy,

Thanks for asking. No, I don't have ETA. A visitor visa is included in my work permit application; if I get approval for it, it means my visitor visa is also approved.

I see.. I just asked this because I was informed by an attendee in the TT Services chat that, due to my wife's ETA, she wouldnt receive a passport letter. So she needs to change her status in the board (airport) when arriving Canada. Thats why I asked you. In your case, it's really weird not receiving a passport letter for so long.

Okay, so your case is different than mine; I wish you all the best for your new Journey in Canada!

Hi, first of all congrats on getting the approvals and wish you the best of luck!
Since my case is also similar to yours, still I have a question. The 2 visitor visas you applied are for your kids? If so, how old are they? Since I have also applied visitor visas for my kids aged 6 years, now I'm in doubt if they require a study permit or visitor visas are just fine. Many people here complaining their kids visitor visas got rejected and they are being asked to apply a study permit for them.
