Hi,

I tried looking for a similar case but I couldn't find any. Here is the situation. Last September, my friend received her positive LMO. She is actually here in Canada for 5 months now. She personally received the LMO last September when she arrived here. She submitted all her documents in Philippines and received a letter regarding the processing time of 12-18 months.

Just recently, she received a letter from the employer saying that the position is really urgent because the other care-giver is resigning.

We have heard that she can submit her application her application in Alberta or in New York. We are not really sure.

Hope you can give us expert opinion about her case.

1. Can she expedite the processing of her application in Philippines given the urgency of the position? What does she need to submit?
2. Can she send her application to Alberta or New York? If yes, what does she need to do? She has a valid US visa.

Thank you very much.
