Work permit and travel to US

My work permit will expire March 31 and I already applied the extension for my work permit. What bothers me is that I need to attend the conference at US for March 20-25 when my work permit almost expires. Is there any problem when I come back to Canada?

No problem. If you want to be really safe, take proof of your extension application with you.
