Work Permit after studying PG Diploma without Co-Op

Need your help on this.

Am planning to study PG Diploma in Project Management in Fleming (without Co-Op)

The offer letter says that start date is Sep ' 16 and End date is Apr' 17 (8 Months).

So , Does that mean that I will get a Work Permit for 8 Months only??
I get mixed response about this from the people. So, I would like to hear from you how this actually works.

difficult to say as the rules state if less than 2 years but 8 months or more then permit could equal the length of the course. Could be lucky and get one year could be 8 months given that is the specific length of the course. Some people will say 8 months is considered a year long course so lot of conflicting info and maybe better to find an actual 12 month course with the placement part given will only find out when applying
