Hello everyone! I hope you could all help me with this one.

So I had a working holiday permit for 1 year and now that the permit expired I am still in Canada, but only on a visitor permit so I am not allowed to work and this is valid until January 2017 when I go back to my home country. I have a few questions if you could give me any answers it would be much appreciated:
1. If i change my address back to my country of citizenship in Slovenia since in Canada i am only a visitor now, am i allowed to work online (so not for a Canadian company nor for Canadian clients) and my payment is coming to my Slovenian bank account while in Canada as a visitor (so that means i am not earning anything in Canada, not getting any support from Canadian government and not getting any income to my Canadian bank account and my address of residence is in Slovenia)?
2. Can i change my address back to my Slovenian address now since i am no longer in Canada as a worker, only as a visitor? So can i change my address back to my home address before i go back home or do i need to keep my address as the Canadian one even though i am now only a visitor here and have no benefits whatsoever and am not under a work permit or any other kind of permit that would allow me to support myself financially so basically i am counted as a tourist or temporary visitor for 6 months (since July 2016).

Hope i can get some answers and clarity from the forum. Thank you in advance for all the help :)

That's probably ok but you are probably still a tax resident, so you will have to file and pay taxes in Canada on your "foreign" income.

If you are not working for Canadian Employer / Canadian company that is perfectly fine to work online. did you get this online job as Canadian worker ? if so you must check further if you was on this job even before your holiday permit you can carry on.

Yes you can change your address back to home country as well. You don't need to pay tax after July 2016 as you are not more resident but in case you own a property in canada you have to pay tax as per law.

Because the OP has not returned to their own home country, they may be a "deemed resident of Canada" due to being in Canada for more than 182 days. Check http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/cmmn/rsdncy-eng.html and http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/ndvdls/dmd-eng.html

so even considered tax resident when status now is visitor ? Would the tax obligation not finish the moment flipped from work to visitor status regardless of the remote online working element for non Canadian entities. Unless of course proven to still have significant ties in Canada I guess such as property lease.

Immigration status and tax status are independent. The OP should immediately contact CRA to have an assessment of their tax status. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/cmmn/rsdncy-eng.html
