Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone have any experience or knowledge about my question.

So, I am curious, can I stay and live in Asia while working remotely with Canadian employer and do I need a work permit if I do this (let's assume my employer allows this)

Thanks

You can work with a Canadian employer remotely without a permit. Doesn’t count as Canadian experience.

I appreciate the quick response. Is there any article or official site that I can look up and make it as a reference ? I've been trying to find this information but I couldnt find any good answer

Greatly appreciated

What sort of reference. You aren’t working in Canada so you don’t need a work permit. I know many Canadian firms that hire remote employees and no permit required.

I don't think you will find a reference anywhere. This has nothing to do with Canadian immigration since you aren't working in Canada.

Of course it is also entirely up to the employer if they allow you to work outside of Canada. Many companies have policies that prevent this for various reasons including data and privacy.

Any body can guide me that, how can I get a job in Canada ,I m still in Pakistan ,
Indeed. Expect that you will not get any replies since you don’t have work authorization. You need to find an employer willing to pay for a LMIA and prove no one in Canada can do the job, only you.

As already stated you can work for a Canadian employer abroad without a WP like many other contract employees. The employer would pay you differently than employees working in Canada on WPs, the experience would not count as Canadian experience and you would not pay or file Canadian taxes. The pay rate is often different depending on what country you are living in and is usually similar to the market rate of similar position in your home country.
