If I have gone up the ranks in one company – occupation (NOC) is still the same. For example, from research analyst -> senior research analyst -> research manager.
Do I need to:

  • Show the 3 job positions separately on the online PR application / form (Work History Section)?
  • Show the duties and responsibilities, other details salary, etc. at each position separately on my record of employment / employment reference letter, even if i all positions in the same company have same NOC code?

It in practice depends on what your employer will provide you as proof of employment?
For example if they only agree to provide you with your chronological employment history as
Job 1 xxxyrs
Job2 xxx yrs
Etc...
You can't declare that you have performed one position during the past years also your pay stubs, example of work (which could be asked through an ADR) reference check... needs to be considered.

It is advised to provide evidence for each position you held stand alone so you can easily corroborate afterwards

In a PR application you will find equivalent uploading Windows for each work experiences you declare so collect (for each position)
1- a reference letter includes: designation, duration, duties, payroll
2- as many as pay slip you have

In one pdf file for each one by one

Thanks for your reply. May i check - in my express entry profile, i have indicated only one position (last designation) for the company. Can i now change to 3 positions for the company? Will that cause any issues?

If this change is before ITA no harm, however once i have changed my NOC for one job out of 5 got my profile immediately ineligible but then i was in the middle of a PNP nomination.
