Work history giving us a hard time. Will we be charged with misrepresentation if we can't remember?

So, I'm about to send out the packet but I'm agonizing about my wife's work history. The years when she started and ended jobs are perfect but the months are hazy as heck when it comes to the earlier jobs. For instance, she turned 18 in 2011 so that's where we started. She worked at a rehabilitation center that's now shut down. She can remember the year she started and the year she finished but we can't remember the month she started and ended (not even the season). So, do we just put a random month? Do we put a star symbol? The form won't validate unless everything is perfect so I don't think a star symbol will work.

Also, between the 2011 job and her next job in 2013, there was a one-month period when she was unemployed while looking for a job. Do I need to note this?

Will they literally call all of her past employers to make sure the months she started and ended is accurate? Or, will they just call her current employer in the US? I'm worried we get something wrong and they find out and ban her from Canada.

Explain on a separate sheet about any dates she is unsure of.

Yes, she needs to include the period of unemployment in her Personal History, as stated on the form.

They won't call anyone.
