Work History EE - Coop then Open work permit

Hello everyone,

Thanks in advance for those who can help me
In the work history section under the Express Entry, I totally understood that any work experience under a Coop visa or/and a student visa won't be taken as an experience for the Canadian Immigration.

However, in my case, I have started my employment under a Coop visa and then have switched to an open work permit...
Should I use the start date of my work permit instead of the date of my contract (The one under my coop work permit)?

Sure.
Hired in October under Coop visa.
December I got my diploma.
January I got my new open work permit visa.

So in the work History, which dates should I enter?

I would say you enter January, and when you get letter from your employer stating start day October, you can explain in the LOE.

Better be on the safe side!!

Anything else you can enter it in the personal history.

Just to confirm with you:

On my profile, Canadian Experience from the date of my open work permit (January) --> If I got the ITA, will have to explain why I have started in October.
I don't have to mention any of my experience before that under my coop and student visa on my profile --> If I got the ITA, will have to mention it under the personal history.

Also on my profile I have added my experience (work + Internship) back in France, I assume this part is ok
