So I checked my work experience letter from my previous job, everything seems fine except for one minor detail.
My job was for the period 11 Apr 2016 - 16 Jul 2018
But the letter says:
"His gross annual salary for the financial year 2018-2019 was INR X"
What they meant was that for the financial year 2018-2019 my annual salary was the specified amount, but I didn't actually get paid that because I did not work for the entire financial year, I get paid every month and quit my job in July. So obivously I would only get paid of my annual salary for the year.
My question is does this matter? How should the annual salary be specified? I got the letter quite a while back and contacting my old job and making a correction is going to be a huge pain.
