Hello,

I'm creating MyCIC profile and came across a confusing part where I enter my work history details. I tried looking for clear answers/instructions but couldn't find any!

I have post graduation work history of exactly (2 years and 7 months and counting..) all in my main occupation (a single NOC code)
But, I also have 8 months work experience of 32 hours a week done at an intern level while I was studying in my last year at Uni, the intern position falls under a different NOC.

So, when I only enter the post grad experience, I get 25 points for lang+foreign work experience. But, when I add that intern experience it jumps up to 50 points.

My question is, am I allowed to claim 50 CRS points for 3 years of experience done under two different NOC? Or, do I have to wait till I spend 3 years under my main occupation NOC?

Please note, I have never studied/work in Canada and all my studies/work experience I'm claiming were in my home country.

Thank you for your help.

As long as the work experience is under NOC skill type 0, A or B, you can claim all of those, irrespective of the fact that they fall under different NOCs. Please note that for all the years of work experience that you claim points for should be supported by documentary evidence.
