I studied HVAC at a college in Ontario and ended up getting a job classified as NOC B 7313(Heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning mechanics).
However, I heard that my work experience would not be accepted without certification called 313d, even if I work for a year in that company.
This is because, in the Employment Requirements section of the NOC official site, the following comment is indicated.

"Trade certification for refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics is compulsory in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta and available, but voluntary, in all other provinces and the territories. "
Is that true? I am just asking about work experience for Express Entry(CEC), not about Ontario provincial programs like Skilled Trade Stream.
Do I have to find another job in another NOC which doesn't require a specific certification?
