As has been discussed and clarified on this forum, a professional designation is not a 'degree, diploma or Certificate'. This was a source of disappointment to myself and many others I'm sure.
It got me thinking what about the 'work experience' accumulated during the course of studying for and passing those exams required to obtain a professional designation? As it is not considered an academic program and the candidates who sit those exams are not 'students' the work experience should count right?
PS you need to be working to sit the exams for the designations I acquired ie Australian and Canadian CA designations.
Thank-you all for your replies.
