Hi all,

I am in a dilemma right now. Please guide me what to do.
I am an Electrical Engineer with a specialisation in Computers. (took programming courses as electives)

I worked as a Software Programmer from June 2014-August 2015 at a software house whose head office is in US so its a well known company “A”. I got the Salary in my bank account fr this time period.

January and February 2015 I started working part time for my Father in law’s company “B” but could not continue as my job in “A” took most of my time and I couldn’t give enough time. I got the salary fr both months in my bank account.

August 2015 I re joined my FIL’s company “B” full time as an Electrical Engineer. And I get Salary for it in my bank account. And I still work there. Timings in my letter are 9-6pm but I only go for a couple of hours a day.

I currently work for an international organisation “C” as an Administrator which has a standard “work from home” policy for the position I am in, but in Pakistan due to a different work culture, my contract says my timings are 11:30-4:30pm. However I only go for 3 hrs a day and do the rest of the work at home. I recently applied for Canada Visa for a conference in Toronto being held by the same company (Global team) and was given the visa. So IRCC already has my job letter and contract for this post. The NOC for this job is different thn the rest. I am not going to get any points for this but I can’t hide it obviously

Summary:
Jun 2014-Aug 2015 Company A (full time) noc 2174
Aug 2015 til date Company B (full time) noc 2133 plus some work under 2174
Jan 2015-Feb 2015 Company B (Part time) noc 2133
Dec 2017 til date Company C (part time) noc xxxx

Now, what do I write in my work experience?
Do I need to tell abt Jan Feb Part time job at “B”? Can I term “C” as Part time and B as full time? Can I simply add C in personal history only and not in Work Experience? Please guide!

Write only the one for which you want to claim points.
Obviously you'll get max CRS points for 3 years for your position at company B, for period of Aug 2015-Present.
Put the rest in personal activity.

Note however, that under the eligibility scale (67/100) you can get two more points (15 instead of 13) if you declare 5 years instead of 3.
So if you're comfortable above 67, just pick the position mentioned August 2015-Present.
If you're tight on eligibility points, pick the two most recent ones, to get points for all 5 years.

Okay but NOC for all three jobs is different.

I wanted to include company A as well because its a renowned company and to tell that I haven’t just worked for my father in law’s company only...

I guess Ill just go for Company B in my work experience then.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

It's okay to have different NOCs, as long as there is one filfilled in 1 continuous year.
Yes include both of them.
