Hi,

I have worked in Canada from March 16, 2015 to January 29, 2016 (10.5 months). I have been working for 8hrs/day full-time (and continuous)

In cic portal, it is written that the minimum work experience for Skilled work experience should be --> at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time.

I would like to know if I can apply under the experienced category as my total hours worked will be more than 1560 hours as mentioned in CIC.

Thanks in advance!

No - you can't. In addition to having the required number of hours, you also need a minimum of 52 actual weeks of full time employment. You won't qualify until March 2017.

Thank You for your reply!

But I did not understand the last sentence in your reply - "You won't qualify until March 2017." Could you please elaborate on this? Does this mean I should not apply for PR until March 2017?

what about vacation weeks? Approximately i get around 4 weeks every year of paid annual leave. Does this period count? or do they deduct it specially it's only visible in my travel history and the reference letter will include it in the working period.

I believe Scylla meant March 2016, one year.
