Hi everyone. My friend is facing the following situation and I really hope someone can shed light on this. I'm sorry if this question was asked and answered earlier. I did go through some posts but there were different views on it. So I decided to post this here to get some clarity -

My friend was a Sales Executive from 2014 to 2016 and got promoted as Sales Lead from 2016 to 2018. The job duties of both roles are the same and fall under the same NOC code. He has created the EE profile with just ONE entry mentioning the latest designation for time period 2014 to 2018. He also received the ITA.

Now to obtain the Employee Reference letter, we are planning to mention both the designations and a note saying the job duties of both designations are the same. Will this suffice? Or should we attach an LOE as well that states the reason why we created only one entry was because both designations have the same job duties?

Any help is appreciated.
