Work experience prior to professional degree? Experts please help

Hi,
I was wondering if I can show my wifes work experience as a private practitioner prior to her degree. She completed her Occupational Therapy degree requirements in 2007, but received her diploma in 2008. However, she started private practice in 2006.
My concern is that can we show work experience prior to degree / diploma in health care related occupations or not?
Any help in this regard will be great.

Show the genuine work experience with the exact date of joining, designation etc..

It is not important when the degree is completed and when certificate issued....

There is no issue if you join a work before completing degree or degree.

Post secondary work experiences are accepted..
