Work Experience not updated

I have not updated my work experience after July 15. That means although I am working right now for a new employer, I have not updated my EE profile neither informed OOPNP regarding this.

My current job will not add any points so I do not see it necessary to add to my profile.

Do I still need to write a letter to OOPNP and explain this?

Any similar cases for other applicants ?

Pls. share.

I think you are correct. I should update change in my employment by writing an explanation letter mentioning why i do not like to add my current employment under Jobs as it is not going to make (or increase) any difference on my score.

Anyone on the same boat, pls. share your condition.

THanks.

Change of employment after submission makes no difference to your application so it is strictly optional to provide this information to CIC (or MCIIT/OINP) or not.

When you said "... after submission ..." do you mean initial application for OOPNP (in my case) ? My current status is I have received AoR from MCIIT/OINP and waiting for Nominations (or outcome of application.) However, I have changed my employment so my question is do I need to notify OINP ?

I understand that as per Application Guide for Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream under 7.1 CHANGES IN PERSONAL INFORMATION AND CIRCUMSTANCES, I need to notify them for "Change in employment status (loss of employment or new employer);"

Pls. share your thought...

I meant submission post ITA. But my original comment stands unchanged for OOPNP submission as well. Any changes in employment after submission has no effect on your CRS so it is strictly optional to share that with the OOPNP authorities.

I can think of only one scenario where change in employment has to be necessarily informed - if the applicant loses an LMIA supported job offer after getting an ITA and before getting an e-APR, that will cause a material difference to their application and has to be necessarily informed to CIC. In any other scenario, I imagine that this is an optional exercise.
