Hi,
So my partner's almost running out of time to submit his documents, and we're kinda stuck with the work experience letters.
In his profile he claimed 3 years of foreign work experience, 2 years in one company and 2 in another one, maxed out at 3.
One of these companies is his current work place, and we already have everything.
However, we're a bit stuck getting the letter from his other work. He worked there a few years ago and even though his boss told him he would get him the letter, it seems like they have run in a bit of a problem getting the letter in the company's letterhead - it's a university and it's complicated, we've been waiting for a few weeks now.
We could get the letter in white paper, and we also have salary slips, a work certificate and his contract.
He's worried because his official job title was something like "administrative assistant", and he's claiming a marketing NOC (that's what he did, it's just that the university only had generic job titles), so all these official documents like the slips, etc are under that job title. The letter states the job title, the NOC and his duties, but we're almost sure we won't be able to get it in letterhead.
Our other option would be to change the application to another job - the one before his current one, he was there for two years as well. Same NOC.
He already talked to his boss and it seems like he'll be able to get the letter in letterhead... But the problem here is that this company was a mess regarding official documents, and I'm not sure if we would be able to provide salary slips or anything else. Probably a work certificate, though.
What's our best bet in this scenario? We still have a bit less than a month, and it's the only thing he's missing, so we'll probably see if the first job is able to get the letter, but we're looking at all our options because we really don't want to lose this ITA.
