Work Experience Letter for PR

Hi Guys,

I have a few queries regarding the work experience letters to be submitted for PR application.

1. Do we need to show the exact dates of joining and leaving on the letters (12th April 2016) or just months of joining and leaving (April 2016) is enough?

2. How strictly are the work experience months and years are counted? I may be 12-15 days behind three years of work experience when I received the ITA but I can show the entire three years when I am submitting the final application. Will that work?

3. Does the work experience have to be strictly in conformation with the details furnished in the student visa application form? I did not show a job I only did for 2-3 months in my student visa form but I want to show it in my PR form as it will bump up no. of work exp months, can I do that?

4. Should I explain in my LOE that my work exp is a few days less than 3 years or will that be digging my own grave?

5. How risky is denying the ITA as that would help me gain some extra time to sort the work ex issue out?

Other
1) yes
2) 1 year comprise of 52 weeks. if any of the week is missing IRCC may not count it as an year especially if you are claiming only 1 year of experience. if u are shy by 12-15 days to make it complete 1 year, the system will give you points but when agent sees your dates he will most likely deem u ineligible. If u r shy by 12-15 days to make it 2 or 3 years then its at officer discretion
3)Try to make both of your applications look identical. U can always explain what u want to in LOE if you won't ircc will still find it anyways
4) not risky at all

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. For 1) by yes do you mean exact dates or just months?

For 2) If it's at officer's discretion do you think i should go ahead and submit with 12-15 days shy or explain it in my LOE?

Lastly is the work exp counted at the time of the ITA or at the time time of submitting my PR application?
